School facility launched in Kyauktalonegyi Town

A ceremony to hand over a new school facility to the Department of Education was held in conjunction with a prize awarding to outstanding students and school family day in Kyauktalonegyi Town in Shan State on 11 January.

Speeches were given by an official from PaO National Organization, Headmistress Daw Phyu Phyu Win, Headmaster U Soe Tint Lwin and a member of the school board of trustees. Next, the township education officer and concerned officials presented awards to outstanding teachers and students. Afterwards, they inaugurated the new school structure and sprinkled scented water on its stone inscription.

The one-storey facility measuring 90 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width is of steel structure and was built with nearly Ks. 50 million funded by the government.—Khun Arkar
