School facility to be built in Mongphyat Township

Mongphyat, 9 December

A ground-breaking ceremony for construction of a new structure was held at a basic education middle school in Parsan Village, Mongphyat Township in Eastern Shan State this morning.

First, Shan State MP U Sai Kyauk, Township Administrator U Thet Lwin, an official from the private construction company, Headmistress and patron of the school board of trustees drove the stakes at designated places and sprinkled scented water on it. The new facility will be 70 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and will be built by a private construction company with Ks. 100 million of the Union Budget in the fiscal year 2019-2020.

The school building will consists of four rooms and is slated to be finished by June 2020.—Than Tun Aye (IPRD)
