A ceremony to launch a new school building in Basic Education High School in Namti, Mogaung Township, Kachin State was held this morning.
Speaker of Kachin State Hluttaw, State Minister for Social Affairs U Nay Win, State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Kyaw Kyaw Wi, State Minister for Municipal Affairs U Naw Li, State Minister for Shan Ethnic Affairs U Sai Sein Lin, State Minister for Bama Ethnic Affairs U Khin Maung Myint, MP U Win Naing of Pyithu Hluttaw, MP Dr. Khin Ma Gyi of Amyotha Hluttaw, MP Daw Mya Thwe San of State Hluttaw and State Education Officer Daw Khin Than New formally opened the new school building. They then sprinkled the scented water on the stone inscription marked 50th anniversary of BEHS-Namti and planted a tree marked 50th anniversary of the school.
The school facility which is 140 ft in length and 30 ft in width is involved 12 classrooms. Next, the State Education Officer and Head of the school (Retd.) clarified the history of the school and efforts to be a BEHS. Afterwards, the officials presented certificate of honor and souvenir to donors of the school building.
