SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attends literary talks held in commemoration of Sarsodaw Day

Chairman of the State Ad­ministration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the lit­erary talks held in commem­oration of the literary day at the Wunzin Min Yaza Hall of the National Library (Nay Pyi Taw) under the Department of Historical Research and National Library under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture yesterday evening.

 

Also present at the cere­mony were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, SAC Vice-Chair­man Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, the SAC Joint Secretary and members and their wives, Union Ministers, Union-level officials and guests.

 

On arrival at the Nation­al Library (Nay Pyi Taw), the Prime Minister and wife and party were welcomed by re­sponsible personnel. First, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko explained the purpose of hold­ing the literary talks to com­memorate Sarsodaw (Liter­ary) Day.

 

On the occasion, doyen writers Tekkatho Myat Thu, Ma Sanda and Myinmu Maung Naing Moe gave talks.

 

After the talks, SAC Chair­man Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing cordially greeted those doy­en writers and offered gifts of honour to them. — MNA
