SAC Chairman PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar

State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Sen­ior General Min Aung Hlaing re­ceived Mr Chum Angvichet, Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar, who will re­turn after completing his tour of duties, at the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

During the meeting, they had a cordial discussion on friendly and dip­lomatic relations between Myanmar and Cambodia, mutual exchange of friendship visits, increasing coopera­tion in the trade sector, the tourism sector, social and cultural sectors and other sectors between the two countries, and the preparations for holding a free and fair multiparty general election in Myanmar.

 

After the meeting, SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the Cambodian am­bassador exchanged souvenirs.

 

The meeting was also attended by SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials alongside the Cambodian ambassador and embassy officials. — MNA/TS
