A delegation led by General Director Mr Dmitry V Bakanov of the State-owned Corporation Roscosmos of the Russian Federation, met a Myanmar delegation led by Dr Soe Myint Maung, Chief Executive Officer of the Myanmar Space Agency (MSA), on 25 February at the MSA to hold consultations on Russia– Myanmar space technology cooperation.
Mr Dmitry V Bakanov and his team, accompanied by officials from the MSA, then met middle and high school students from the Training High School (Kamayut Township) at the Space Museum on Ahlon Road, Dagon Township. Mr Bakanov delivered a lecture on space technology, and cosmonaut Mr Sergei Konstantinovich Krikalev, who was awarded the titles of Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of the Russian Federation, and who accompanied the delegation, shared his experiences in spaceflight. — MNA/TH
