Kyainn-Seikkyi, 9 May
A new tarred road was inaugurated in Kyainn-Seikkyi Township, Kayin State. The opening ceremony of the new tarred road was held in Kyainngyi Village, Kyainn-Seikkyi Township this morning.
At first, Chief Minister of Kayin State delivered an opening address and Deputy Minister for Construction U Kyaw Lin elaborated on construction of the road. A local also spoke words of thanks and the opening ceremony of the road followed.
The new tarred road was formally opened by the chief minister, the deputy minister, Kayin State Minister for Environmental Conservation, Forestry, Mining and Road Transport U Saw Pyitha and the lawmakers by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. The road is of 28 mile long and 18 ft. wide.—Myo Min Oo (IPRD)
