Rural road opens in Kanpetlet

A ceremony to inaugurate rural road, constructed by Rural Development Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was held in Pakuan Village, Kanpetlet Township in Chin State yesterday.

At the event, U Soe Htet, Chin State Development Affairs, Electricity and Industry Minister, U Kyi Saw, staff officer of the State’s Rural Development Department, U Nyunt Win, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative, Daw Khin Swe Lwin, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative, U Kui Thang, State Hluttaw Representative cut a ribbon to inaugurate the road.

Afterwards, staff officer of the Township’s Rural Development Department gave a message and said the road constructed between Kanttharyone Village and Pakuan Village will bring considerable economic benefits to nearby villages.

The road that measures three miles in length and 15 feet in width was built by Zalatni Company with about K. 35.28 million.

Also present on the occasion were the State, District and Township level officials, locals and farmers.—Township IPRD
