Rural road construction works being conducted in Minbu Township

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and boosting the socio-economic of rural people, the construction works of rural road is being implemented by Department of Rural Development in Kaindawkyi Village in Minbu(Saku) Township, Magway Region starting from December 31, 2021.

 

Three rural roads are being implemented by DRD in Kaingdaw, Letkhokbin and Kalahaung Myaung in The Township in 2021-022 fiscal years. An earthen road measuring 1.2 miles long, 14 ft. wide and one ft. and nine inches thick is being constructed with Ks.40.22 million allocated by region government in 2021-2022 FY.

 

Engineers from the Township Department of Rural Development are closely monitoring the construction works of rural road, according to an official from the Township DRD. 

 

Once completed, it will benefit 1600 local people from 355 households in four villages in the township and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Maung Maung(Min Bu)
