OFFICIALS of the Department of Rural Road Development oversaw the progress of paving the laterite road connecting Minhla to Uyin Village in Minhla Township on 25 July. The project is being implemented with the 2026-2027 Regional Government Capital Fund.
During the inspection, Township Engineer of the Minhla Township Department of Rural Road Development Daw Lei Lei Win, together with officials, met representatives of Ye Htut Hlaing Construction Company and instructed them to ensure that the project is completed on schedule in accordance with the prescribed standards and specifications.
The project involves widening the existing earth embankment and constructing a 16-foot-wide laterite road with a thickness of six inches along a four-furlong section of the road. The project is being implemented with a budget of K 165.27 million from the 2026- 2027 Regional Government Capital Fund. The construction commenced in the first week of July 2026, and it has now 28 per cent completion. — Naw Lu (Rural)
