A ceremony to furnish relief items to fire victims in Theinseik Ward, Thuwunnawady, Thaton Townhsip, Mon Sate was held at a monastery in the ward at 11 am today.
MP of Pyithu Hluttaw, officials from the District Disaster Management Department and donors provided relief items and cash aids to the victims.
The fire which broke out in Theinseik Ward this early morning destroyed 11 houses and left 51 people from 11 households homeless. Therefore, all of them were evacuated to Aung Zabu Monastery in the ward. Thet Oo (Thaton)
