A ceremony to open a refresher course for auxiliary fire fighters was held at the Township Fire Services in the town of Zegone, Zegone township, Bago region this morning.
At the event, MP U Htoo Khaing of the regional Hluttaw and deputy township administrator U Thet Moe made speeches. Then, U Thien Htwee, the head of the township Fire Service explained the aim of the course. Then, the regional Hluttaw MP gave uniforms to fire fighters. The course focuses on fire extinguishing methods.
A total of 50 fire fighters from five wards and villages will attend the course that will end on 28th February.—Tint Swe (Zegone)
