A refresher course for auxiliary fire fighters was opened at the meeting hall of the township Fire Department in the town of Aung Lan, Thayet district, Magway region this morning.
The event was attended by township administrator U Win Than, township Police Forces commander Police Major Khin Soe, the head of the township Immigration and Population Department, U Htet Zaw Min, head of the township Fire Department and trainees.
At the event, the township administrator made an opening speech and the head of the township Fire Department delivered a report about the aim of the refresher course. Then, officials provided fire fighter’s uniforms for the trainees.
A total of 50 auxiliary fire fighters in the township have been attending the course that will run till the end of January, according to the township Fire Department.—Thein Lwin ( Aung Lan IPRD)
