Rakhine state government held rice offering ceremony in the cave of Lawka Nanda pagoda in the town of Sittwe at 2 pm today.
Rakhine state chief minister U Nyi Pu, state ministers, the state advocate general, the state auditor general, government personnel at township, district, state level and well-wishers donated rice and offertories to 400 monks and 20 nuns residing in monasteries in the town.—Tin Maung Lwin
