THE Futsal and Beach Football Committee of the Myanmar Football Federation organized the qualifiers for the U19 Youth Futsal League at the MFF Futsal Court of Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon yesterday.

 

On the earlier agenda, the MFF U19 Futsal League will be held with the participation of 12 clubs. But, a total of 13 clubs submitted nominations to take part in the league. So, the committee held the qualifiers for youth clubs from League 2 and five more clubs which were late to be listed. In this regard, four clubs of them will be qualified for the U-19 League.

 

In the qualifiers, SGF trounced Shwepyitha United 6-2, whereas Pacific Sun Far beat Maya 3-2. Moreover, two losed clubs, Shwepyitha Unit­ed met Maya, but Shwepyitha United crushed its opponent with a 4-1 win and qualified.

 

In facing Gold Dream for the last position of the qualifier, Maya secured a 2-1 victory over its opponent. So, SGF, Pacific Sun Far, Shwepyitha United and Maya were qualified for the league.

 

MFF will draw the fixtures of the MFF U19 Youth League on 11 March. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
