Public talk focuses on prevention of the risk of human trafficking in Moenyo Tsp

Moenyo, December 13

 

With the cooperation among Information and Public Relations Department and other relevant departments, public talks were hold at Basic Education Middle School (Branch) in the town of Moenyo, Thayawady district, Bago region this morning.

 

The talks focused on prevention of the risk of human trafficking. At the event, MP U Win Ko from Bago Region constituency-2 and officials from the Township General Administration Department and the Township Education Department made speeches. Then, Daw Sanda Lin, head of the Township IPRD explained the aim of the talks. 

 

Then, Police Inspector Hla Myint form the township Police Forces gave a talk about statutory rape offences, traffic rules, the scourge of narcotic drugs. Then, the township Law Officer Daw Win Win Maw shared knowledge about the risk of human trafficking. After that, officials answered queries raised by schoolchildren.

 

A total of 250 people including departmental heads at township level, school principal U Thein Ko Oo, teachers, schoolchildren, members of Women Affairs Committee and Maternity and Childcare Association took part in the talks.—Aung Min Naing (IPRD)
