The Orphans Reduction and Protection Association-ORPA (Myanmar) received cash, clothes and toys for the orphans yesterday.
The Diplomatic and International Golfer’s Affiliation of Yangon (DIGAY) donated US$3,000; Singaporean Ambassador to Myanmar Ms Vanessa Chan presented clothes and toys; Honorary Consul of Hungary for Myanmar Daw Tint Tint Lwin, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic Daw Hla Hla Wai, and Honorary Consul of Ukraine for Myanmar U Aung Hlaing Oo and wife offered K300,000 each.
Chairwoman of ORPA Myanmar Daw May Yin Tun extended greetings to the donors, and the Singaporean Ambassador talked on the donations before the honorary certificates were presented to the well-wishers.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
