The final match of the township sports and physical education chairman’s cup U-21 men’s football tourney was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at the township sports ground in Ngaphe Township, Magway Region on 27 November.
In the final game, the team representing Padan Village beat the squad representing Myoma Ward 1-0 and was crowned the champion trophy. Next, Chairman of the township management committee Township Administrator U Hsan Tun and officials from the Myanmar Police Force, Sports and Physical Education Department and the Myanmar Fire Services presented individual awards and champion trophy to the prize winning teams and players.
The football tournament was held under the sports development programmes being initiated by the SPED.—Ma Yu (Ngaphe)
