New school facility opens in Labutta Twsp.

An event to inaugurate a new school building was held in Gaungdo Village in Labutta Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

 

A total of 150 people including Chairman of the District Administration Council U Zaw Myo Nyunt and members, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thura and members, the district and township level departmental officials, teachers, students and locals attended the event. During the event, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Zaw Myo Nyunt and officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new school facility.

 

The school with a seating capacity of 52 students ranging from KG to Grade-5 was built and donated by well-wisher, identified as U Myat Thu and Daw Mary Than Tun family, the owner of Royal Gas Station in the town of Labutta.—District IPRD
