New school facility handed over to Education Dept.

A ceremony to inaugurate a new school facility donated by Japan and hand over it to the Department of Education was held at B.E.H.S in Bayagon Village in Hinthada Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday morning.

At the ceremony, U Myint Win, staff officer of the District Education officer’s office delivered an opening speech and an official from the Embassy of Japan in Yangon clarified the purpose of the donation of school for Bayagon Village and handed over proper documents relating to the school building to officials.

Then, staff officer of the District Education officer’s office, Mr. Hiroyuki Oishi from the Embassy of Japan in Yangon and officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to open formally open the new school building. Next, officials unveiled the sign board of the school and sprinkled scented water on it.
