THE Myanmar women’s national foot­ball team has finalized its 23-player squad for the upcoming Nepal Four Nations Tournament.

The squad includes goalkeeper Myo Mya Mya Nyein, defenders May Thet Mon Myint and Zun Yuya Oo, mid­fielders Khin Marlar Tun, Naw Htet Htet Wai and May Htet Lu (currently playing for USA club LA FC) and for­wards San Thaw Thaw and Win Theingi Tun.

The Nepal Four Nations Tourna­ment will take place from 17 to 26 Feb­ruary, featuring Nepal, the host country, Myanmar, Lebanon, and Kyrgyzstan. Myanmar will compete in the group stage matches against Lebanon on 17 February, Kyrgyzstan on 20 February and Nepal on 23 February. The tour­nament follows a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final on 26 February. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
