Myanmar U-22 beat Qatar’s Al Uwayanah club 3-1 in friendly match

THE  Myanmar  U-22  national  football team played their second friendly match in Qatar against Qatar's  Division  Two  Football  Club,  Al  Uwayanah,  on  29  October in Doha, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.


Team Myanmar beat the Al Uwaynah F.C. with a 3-1 result.


Goals  for  team  Myanmar  were  scored  by  reliable  youth  players Aung Kaung Mahn and Htet Phyo Wai.


Myanmar made a strong effort and scored three goals in the first half. Two goals were netted by  Aung  Kaung  Mahn  and  one  goal by Htet Phyo Wai.


Meanwhile, Al Uwaynah F.C. scored a consolation goal in the first half. No goals were made in the  second  half  and  the  match  ended  with  Myanmar  leading  by two goals.


After the friendly match, the Myanmar U-22 team greeted Myanmar football fans at the stadium and posed for group photos with them.


The friendly match was part of team Myanmar’s preparations for  the  upcoming  2019  South  East  Asian  Games,  which  will  be  held  from  26  November  to  10 December in the Philippines. The  football  competitions  are  scheduled  to  be  played  at  the  Rizal Memorial Stadium and the Biñan Football Stadium.
