Myanmar U-18 national team leaves for Japan to undergo training

THE Myanmar U-18 national team left for Japan yesterday to undergo training as preparation for the ASEAN Football Federation’s U-19 Youth Championship and the Asian Football Confederation’s U-19 Championship.

Chief Executive Officer-CEO of Myanmar Football Federation-MFF U Phone Naing Zaw and officials saw off the team at the Yangon International Airport.

The Myanmar U-18 team will undergo training at the J-Green Sakai Training Centre in Osaka, Japan for ten days, from 16 to 25 July.

During the training, the team will play three friendly matches against the Cerezo Osaka U-18 team on 18 July, the Osaka Sangyo University team on 21 July, and the Hannan University team on 24 July.

The training tour which includes nine admin/coach members and 25 players of the Myanmar U-18 team was led by the team’s administrator U Ye Win Aung and Chief Coach U Soe Myat Min, according to the Myanmar Football Federation. — Kyaw Khin
