Myanmar prepares for friendly matches in Japan

IN  preparation  for  the  ASE-AN Football Federation (AFF) U-19 Championship and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-19  Championship,  head  coach Soe Myat Min of the My-anmar  U-18  national  football  team selected 25 outstanding players to play in the friendly match,  plus  train  in  Japan,  according  to  the  Myanmar  Football Federation.

 


The 25 players were com-posed of talented youths from the MFF Youth Academy and youth teams from Shan Unit-ed, Yangon United, Ayeyawady United, Magwe FC and South-ern Myanmar FC.

 


The Myanmar U-18 team will  train  for  ten  days  at  the  J-Green Sakai training center in Osaka, Japan from 16 to 25 July.

 


During  the  training,  My-anmar  U-18  team  will  play  friendly  matches  against  lo-cal Japanese youth clubs, said officials  from  the  Myanmar  Football Federation.

 


Team  Myanmar  will  play  against  Cerezo  Osaka  U-18  team on 18 July, Osaka Sangyo University team on 21 July and Hannan  University  team  on  24 July.

 


The  U-18  Myanmar  foot-ballers  will  leave  for  Japan  on 15 July.

 


The Myanmar squad will be  led  by  eight  members  of  the coaching staff, led by head coach  Soe  Myat  Min.—Lynn  Thit (Tgi)
