Myanmar National League: Yangon United beat Sagaing United 2-0

Yangon United bagged another win yesterday by beating Sagaing United 2-0 in Week-4 of the MPT Myanmar National League. The match between the two teams was held at the Yangon United Sports Complex.

The goals for Yangon were scored by youth star Nyein Chan Aung and foreign player Shori.

Yangon United stuck to their usual 4-4-2 formation, and the team coach used youth star Nyein Chan Aung in the attack position.
Yangon United forced the play from the kick-off with continuous attacks.

Yangon United missed a scoring chance at 29 minutes. Nyein Chan Aung passed the ball to teammate Barfo, but Barfo’s attempt went over the goal bar.

The first half ended in a scoreless draw. In the second half, Yangon United turned up the pace further.

At 59 minutes, Nyein Chan Aung scored the opening goal for the team with the assistance of Maung Maung Lwin and Emmanuel.
After the goal, Yangon substituted Than Paing and Shori in place of Emmanuel and Nyein Chan Aung.

The second goal for Yangon was scored by substituted player Shori in additional time, and the match ended with the team leading by two goals.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
