Myanmar National League: Shan United beat Yadanarbon 3-1

Shan United, defending champions of the Myanmar National League, beat Yadanarbon F.C. by 3-1 in the Week-5 match of the MNL yesterday at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay.

The goals for Shan United were scored by David Htan, Nanda Kyaw, and Daniel, while Aung Thu scored the lone goal for Yadanarbon.

Yadanarbon played tough at the beginning, with striker Aung Thu scoring the first goal for the team 3 minutes into the game.

After Yadanarbon’s goal, Shan United switched to attack mode.

At 37 minutes, Shan United got a penalty shoot, and David Htan scored the equalizer for the team off a penalty kick.
At the end of the first half, the teams were tied 1-1.

Shan United once again dominated Yadanarbon in the second half.

At 52 minutes, Nanda Kyaw scored the second goal for Shan United. Three minute later, Shan United foreign player Daniel scored the third goal for the team, disappointing Yadanarbon United fans.

There were no more goals in the remaining minutes as Yadanarbon strikers failed to convert scoring opportunities.
