THE Group D of 2025 Asian Cup women’s futsal qualifiers to be hosted by Myanmar will take place two matches per day, start­ing from 15 January 2025, at the MFF Futsal Court of Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon.

 

Myanmar falls in Group D together with Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Macao in the qualifi­ers. The group's matches will be held on 15, 17 and 19 January. Ac­cording to the fixtures, Chinese Taipei will meet Macao at 2:30 pm and Myanmar will take on Vietnam at 5 pm on 15 January. Vietnam will play against Macao at 2:30 pm and Myanmar will compete with Chinese Taipei at 5 pm on 17 January. Likewise, Chi­nese Taipei will face Vietnam at 2:30 pm and Myanmar will meet Macao at 5 pm on 19 January.

 

The qualifiers comprise two groups of five teams each and two more groups of four teams each. Two top teams from each group and the best third-placed team among all teams will be qualified. The group matches from five-team groups started on 11 January. But, the group matches of four-team groups will kick off on 15 January. Myan­mar’s selected women’s futsal team will compete in the quali­fiers for the first time. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
