Four members of the Myanmar Golf team, Hlaing Min Htet, Yar Zar Aung, Pyae Phyo Thu and Thiha Myo Sat, left for the Philippines yesterday to participate in the golf competition at the 30th South East Asian Games.
The athletes were seen off by officials from the Myanmar Golf Federation, led by Co-Secretary General U Aung Myint Oo.
The coaching staff for the Myanmar golf team also accompanied the players.
The coaches include administrator of the Myanmar Golf team U Soe Than, and team leader U Myo Thiha from the Myanmar Golf Federation.
The golf competition will be held at the Lusita Golf and Country Club in San Miguel, Tarlac City, the Philippines from 4 to 8 December.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
