MYANMAR U-23 Men’s Football Team is included in the same group together with host Thailand in ASEAN Football Federation-AFF U-23 Championship, according to yesterday’s announcement of the Myanmar Football Federation.
Team Myanmar is placed in Group A with ASEAN powerhouse Thailand, Cambodia, and Brunei.
Group B will see Timor-Leste, Malaysia, and Indonesia, while the famous Viet Nam is in Group C with the Philippines and Laos.
The tourney will be held from 17 to 26 August in Thailand.
Myanmar will take on host Thailand on 17 August, Cambodia on 19 August, and Brunei on 21 August.
The top three teams from each of the three groups and one of the best second-placed teams will qualify for the semi-finals. — KZL
