Myanmar delegation attends 1st conference of Worldwide Public Security Cooperation Forum

China hosted the first con­ference of the Cooperation of Worldwide People Security Fo­rum from 29 to 30 November online.

 

Myanmar Delegation led by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Chief of Myanmar Police Force Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet, Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers of Home Affairs, deputy ministers, Chiefs of the Police Force and ambassadors of China, Cam­bodia, Laos, Thailand, Viet Nam, Russia, Belarus, Hun­gary, Spain, Egypt, Brazil, Ar­gentina, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Sol­omon, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Israel, and the President and the Vice-President of Interpol, representatives from 38 coun­tries attended the conference.

 

Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the Ministry of Public Securi­ty Mr Wang Xiaohong gave a speech and the conference was held under four topics.

 

The leader of the Myanmar delegation said at the forum that international cooperation must be strengthened in order to effectively solve the current challenges and obstacles and that this will enhance global crime prevention and combat­ing efforts and that Myanmar will effectively implement UN Convention against Transna­tional Organized Crime and re­lated accords and agreements. — MNA
