Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, who at­tended the 5th Lancang-Mekong Audiovisual Week, arrived back in Yangon yesterday after visit­ing the iconic sites in Kunming and Yuxi of Yunnan Province on 19 June, together with the del­egations of LMC countries and Southeast Asia countries.

 

On 19 June, the delegates visited the museum of Yunnan Maoduoli Food Group Co Ltd, established in 1991, and observed the production processes from raw materials to finished prod­ucts.

 

Then, they observed the work processes of Yunnan Gon­grunxiang Tea Industry Compa­ny.

 

The industry was established in 2007 and recognized as a na­tional high-tech industry in 2015. It won an innovative and research award in 2017 and is now the lead­ing company in the tea industry.

 

At noon, they proceeded to Tain ward in Hongta district. It is 26 square kilometres in area and home to 5,742 houses, and won village prizes.

 

On arrival at Yuxi Walvax Bi­ological Technology Co Ltd, they­studied the production processes.

It is a branch of Yunnan Walvax biological technology es­tablished in 2005 and it produces 39,000 dozen vaccines per year.

 

The Union Minister met with officials of Kunming-based Yunnan M Time Culture and Communication Co Ltd yester­day and discussed broadcasting programmes on Online Media in cooperation with M Time Myan­mar Micro Video Production and Release Centre and MRTV. At noon, the Union Minister left Kun­ming, China, and arrived back in Yangon by flight. — MNA/KTZH
