Myanmar beat China Women’s Youth Selection team 4-0 in friendly match

THE Myanmar women’s national football team beat China Women’s Youth Selection team by 4-0 in a friendly  match  yesterday  after-noon  at  Suzhou,  Jiangsu  Province, China.


The friendly match was part of team Myanmar’s preparations for the women’s football tournament of the 2019 South East Asian Games  in  the  Philippines.  The  friendly  match  was  the  second  friendly match for team Myanmar in  China.  Myanmar  used  youth  players for the match.


Myanmar lined up with May Zin New (goalkeeper), Khin Myo Win,  Wai  Wai  Aung,  May  Thet  Mon  Myint,  Aye  Aye  Moe,  Lae  Lae Hlaing, May Thu Kyaw, Nge Nge Htwe, San Thaw Thaw, Pont Pont Pyae Maung, and Nu Nu.


The  team  substituted  July  Kyaw, Thin Thin Yu, Phyu Phyu Win,  Khin  Mho  Mho  Tun,  Myat  Noe  Khin,  Khin  Moe  Wai,  goal-keeper Thandar Oo, and Khaing Thazin  Oo.  Myanmar  kept  the  pressure on the Chinese players throughout  the  match,  with  Nu  Nu  scoring  the  first  and  second  goals  at  28  and  45  minutes.  The  first  half  ended  with  a  2-0  score  in favor of Myanmar.


July  Kyaw  scored  the  third  and fourth goals for Myanmar at 64 and 78 minutes in the second half. The match ended with a four-goal win for Myanmar. Myanmar will next play their third friendly match in China against the same team (China Women’s Youth National  Team)  on  14  November,  according  to  a  statement  from  the  Myanmar  Football  Federation.
