Myanmar, Bangladesh conduct coordinated naval patrol along Naf River

Myanmar and Bangladesh border guards conducted a coordinated naval patrol along the Naf River on 18 July.

 

The Myanmar patrol was led by Pol-Maj Tin Hlaing from Ywet Nyo Taung outpost under the No 2 Border Police subdivision of Area 5, Maungtaw Township, on two watercrafts.

 

The Bangladesh patrol was led by Subedar MD Razzak from Domdomia BOP outpost under No 2 Border Guard Force, Border Guards Bangladesh, also on two watercrafts.

 

The two sides met at nautical miles 8 near the opening to Mingalar Creek in the middle of the Naf River near the border and to nautical mile 11 near the opening of Chaung Wa Creek.
