THE 2025–2026 season of Myanmar Women’s League continued on 7 May at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre 1 and Thitsar Arman secured a 1-0 victory over defending champions ISPE FC.

 

ISPE FC, who finished last season unbeaten and won the championship, suffered their first loss of this season in only their third match. Thitsar Arman, on the other hand, is in fine form this season and remains undefeated after four games by bagging a total of 10 points.

 

The winning goal came in 12 minutes through Myat Noe Khin. ISPE FC pushed hard for an equalizer throughout the match, but Thitsar Arman’s defenders and goalkeeper Thuza Aung held firm to preserve the clean sheet and claim all three points.

 

After Fixture IV, both Ayeyawady and Thitsar Arman have 10 points from four matches. Yangon United have nine points from four matches, Young Lionesses have six points, Shan United have four points, ISPE FC have four points from three matches, YREO have three points from three matches, while Myawady and Yangon Royal have yet to earn a point from their three games. — Shine Htet Lwin/KZL
