MYANMAR Rice Federation (MRF) temporarily halted home delivery service on 17 March amid the fallout of fuel oil.

MRF and Myanmar Rice and Paddy Traders Association jointly provided home delivery service to stabilize rice prices, and a total of 1,161 rice sacks were delivered to consumers.

The global energy crisis put a stop to the home delivery system. Only those consumers who have already placed orders with processed transactions will receive their orders. MRF will make further announcements as and when the programme resumes. — NN/KK
