Mohnyin 20 August
Representatives from the District Red Cross Committee presented relief items donated by the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) to storm victims in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State on 19 August.
The event was held at a religious edifice in Ohnsanhsai Village, Balu Village-tract in Mohnyin Township at about 5 p.m. yesterday. On the occasion, the chairperson of the district red cross committee U Than Tun gave a speech and commander of the district red cross committee U Myint Oo Ngel explained the aim of donation.
Next, they handed over relief supplies to storm victims from 25 households. The Department of Disaster Management also furnished the storm victims with relief aid on 10 August.—Kyaw Kyaw Htwe (Mohnyin)
