UNION Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw received Mr Tariq Karim, Am­bassador of Pakistan to Myan­mar, at the Ministry of Science and Technology in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The two sides exchanged views on enhancing science and technological cooperation between Myanmar and Paki­stan, as well as on technological development, human resource development and the improve­ment of the IT sector.

Deputy Minister Dr Nay Chi Lei Lei Thein and officials from the ministry, as well as officials from the Embassy of Pakistan to Myanmar, attended the meet­ing. — MNA/MKKS
