Earlier, they offered only specialized sunset Yangon River cruise tours on week­ends and during gazetted holidays, taking passengers towards the mouth of the sea. Now, they have discovered more spectacular scenery of Seikkyi Kanaungto starting from 15 February. Morning Sightseeing Tour explored the new destination on 22 February again with the Royal Green River Cruise. The cruise will depart from Botahtaung Jetty, take pas­sengers across the Yangon River, pass under the Yan­gon-Dala bridge, turn to the Twantay Canal and get to Seikkyi Kanaungto destina­tion. The ship’s departure is set at 9:30 am, and arrival at Botahtaung Jetty is estimat­ed between 12:30-1 pm.

Cruise tour to Seikkyi Kanaungto costs K35,000 for adult and K25,000 for child aged four to 11 years.

Yangon Water Bus was once a popular scenic fer­ry ride, carrying nostalgic charm with breathtaking routes, including Twantay. This sunset budget boat trip achieved success. — ASH/KK
