DEPUTY Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe, who leads the committee overseeing accommodation and catering for the upcoming Fifth National Sports Festival, visited Nay Pyi Taw’s Sports Training Camp Cluster 9 yesterday to review preparations for hosting athletes, administrators, and coaches.
During the inspection, the deputy minister underscored the importance of providing athletes with nutritious and well-balanced meals. He instructed the committee to ensure that food preparation and service processes meet the dietary standards. Emphasizing hygiene, he highlighted the need for cleanliness across all aspects of food preparation, from the handling of meat and vegetables to the sanitation of cooking equipment, as well as maintaining personal hygiene among food preparation staff. — MNA/TRKM
