Mass immunization campaign conducted in Maungdaw Twsp.

Medical workers from the Township Department of Public Health under Ministry of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign at the designated vaccination sites and the office of the Township maternal and child welfare association in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State this morning.

 

On the occasion, healthcare workers dosed and vaccinated children below two years old and pregnant women with vaccine against hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria, pneumonia and encephalitis at the designated vaccination sites in the Township. Medical workers also gave Vitamin A to children below five years old.

 

Health care services have been provided to children below two years old and pregnant women every Monday since the first week of August this year in Maungdaw Township in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
