Under the program of the Ministry of Health and Sports, medical workers from the Township Department of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about Health awareness on prevention of Covid-19 pandemic at the office of the Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State this morning.
On the occasion, health workers vaccinated and dosed children below one and a half years old and pregnant women against various diseases such as hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria and Japanese encephalitis in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Afterwards, medical workers shared knowledge about health awareness on the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic to local people.—District IPRD
