With the aim of increasing family income by expanding microenterprises in rural areas, Natmauk Township Department of Rural Development is disbursing loans of Emerald Green Project to local residents in Natumauk Township, Magway Region.

First, officials from the Township Department met with members of Emerald Green Project in Zaythar village and clarified the purpose of the project, encouraging to expand private microenterprises.           

In addition, responsible people of the project clarified the rules and regulations to be abided by, interest rate and term of the loans. They then handed over loans to the working group of the project.   

Afterwards, members of the project disbursed K 52.8 million of loans to 106 people in agricultural business, livestock business, trade business and other businesses. In Natmauk Township, the project has began since 2014-2015 FY and now it has been implementing in 41 villages.
