THE Department of Rural De­velopment under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural De­velopment, Kunhing Township, Namhsan District, Shan State (South), organized a town­ship-level review meeting with all relevant stakeholders at the Township General Administra­tion Department yesterday. The meeting was aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and success of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Pro­ject and providing a platform for sharing project implementation experiences.

 

Kunhing Township Manage­ment and Administration Com­mittee Chairman U Win Naing first delivered the opening re­marks. Township Staff Officer of the Department of Rural Devel­opment U Aung Kyaw Hein then explained the objectives of the review meeting and the topics to be discussed.

 

Members of project com­mittees from 25 villages cur­rently implementing the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project ex­changed views on the strengths, weaknesses and challenges en­countered during the 2025-2026 financial year. Members of the township-level project imple­mentation team coordinated and provided necessary support and guidance on the issues raised. — Cho Than Nyunt (Rural)
