Invitational sport competitions such as badminton and Sepak takraw will be held at the township sports grounds in Kengtung, the capital city of Eastern Shan State to mark the 73rd anniversary of the Union Day.
The sport activities will be organized by the Sports and Physical Education Department with the sponsorship of the Deputy Commissioner and contestants are invited to take part in the event regardless of age, colour, and religion. The badminton contest is categorized into two types—individuals and doubles—while Sepak takraw tourney would be held in an open way.
The prize winners will be presented awards at the celebration of 73rd anniversary of the Union Day.—Aung Zin Myint (IPRD)
