The final match of an inter-ward/village men’s open football tourney was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony in Gantgaw Township, Magway Region on 3 November.
The team representing Zarhaw Village was crowned champion after beating the squad representing Ward-1 in the final game. Regional Lawmaker U AUng Hsan Win, Deputy Commissioner U Kyaw Min Nyo, head of the district police force Police Lt-Col Aung Min Lwin, Township Administrator U Maung Maung Aye, commander of the district fire brigade U Moe Kyaw, Assistant Director of the Sports and Physical Education Department U Zaw Win Ko, and town elders presented champion trophy, cash and individual prizes to award winning teams and players.
