Hpapun 23 March

A ceremony to inaugurate Hpapun’s archway to mark the 54th Birthday of Outtarayone Ayethuka Monastery Sayadaw was held in Waihmoe village, Hpapun Township, Kayin State this morning.

The archway was formally opened by State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Saw Myint Oo, Tactical Operations Commander Col. Kyaw Swa Myint, MP U Sai Than Naing of Amyotha Hluttaw, MP U Saw Win Htein of State Hluttaw, Hpapun District Commissioner U Zaw Zaw Oo, Township Administrator U Chan Nyein Aye and officials. Then they sprinkled the scented water to the archway. 

Afterwards, the officials made an inspection of water storage under construction with the supervision of the Department of Irrigation and Water Management and attended to the needs of the construction.
