A ceremony to honour and welcome back Tatmadaw members returning from the frontline after carrying out duties related to local security and stability in and around Kyondoe-Kawkareik-Thingannyinaung was held yesterday evening at a local battalion in Heho of Shan State (South). The event was attended by officials from the Eastern Command, along with relevant officials, departmental personnel, and local ethnic residents.
The returning troops had carried out military operations on the front lines day and night to help ensure that ethnic communities across various regions and states could live and work in peace, with the security of their lives and property safeguarded, and to maintain national stability and peace.
The commander and party welcomed back the returning Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia. The event also featured traditional dance and music performances. — MNA/MKKS
