Healthcare workers in Kyaunggon Township, Ayeyawady Region who are currently involved in the fight against the coronavirus received the first dose of covishield covid-19 vaccine on January 27.
The vaccination for 269 medical staff from the Department of Public Health, Department of Traditional Medicine and the Sports and Physical Education Department was held at two gathering points in downtown Kyaunggon. The second dose of covid-19 vaccine will reportedly be injected against health professionals 28-day apart.
