Bogale, 7 November

A ceremony to hand over baby fish to be released into ponds or lakes to relevant officials was held at the office of the Township Department of Fisheries in Bogale Township of Ayeyarwady Region at 8:30 am on 7 November. 

With the aim of increasing fish resources, ensuring food security and promoting fish production, the Township Fisheries Department has handed over a total of 73413 fingerlings to be added into lakes to respective officials.

Also present on the occasion were Chairman of the township Administration Body U Kan Win and members, staff officer of the Township Fisheries Department U Aung Aung Swe and staff and departmental officials.—Moe Set (Bogale)
