The government needs to implement the political landscape into normalcy: Senior General

An emphasis must be placed on strengthening the State economy in shaping the Union based on democracy and federalism, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was quoted as saying at the third-day coordination meeting on undertakings of the Union government at the SAC Chairman Office yesterday morning.
First, Union ministers and Union level officials reported on missions and visions of ministries, duties and functions, the progress of projects and future plans.
In his speech, the Senior General said the information measures must be taken in a correct and prompt process with releasing the true information to the people on time. The Senior General stressed the need for contestants from regions and states to participate in the performing arts competitions.

He stressed the need to lessen number of species of crops as officials face difficulties in sales and management of various species of crops in the agriculture sector. He also added that it is necessary to reclaim the cultivable lands with the use of heavy machinery while officials need to supervise preventive measures for the depletion of fish sources.
He urged officials to continue the formation of cooperative societies in regions and states by organizing the persons who are actually keen to implement the cooperative plans so as to improve the socio-economic life of the rural people.
The Senior General also noted that an emphasis must be placed on the enumeration of the census of the nation through collaborative efforts of relevant ministries and region and state authorities.
In order to turn out necessary human resources for agriculture, livestock and industrial sectors, plans are underway to establish more and more agriculture, livestock and technical high schools across the nation.
The Senior General urged relevant ministries to provide education, health, economic and transport facilities for ethnic people. Hence, relevant ministries need to cooperate with each other in work processes. It is necessary to preserve the languages and cultures of ethnic people as well as Myanmar literature, language and culture.
Then, Council members and the joint secretary of the council reported on the timely releasing of true information, implementation of public security system, sabotage acts of CRPH, NUG and so-called PDF terrorists in regions and states, and discovery of information for ensuring peace and stability.
The Vice-Senior General discussed deaths and injuries of innocent people, service personnel, monks and nuns in attacks and murdering of terrorists during the time of the State Administration Council, plans to form public security teams to restore regional peace and stability, coordination of regional and state chief ministers for continuously vaccinating the remaining people, restriction for inflow of illegal goods through land borders, issuance of citizenship scrutiny cards to the eligible citizens so as to successfully hold the election in line with the five-point roadmap.
In his response to the reports, the Senior General said that a government must strive for the economic development of the people and the nation. An emphasis must be placed on strengthening the State economy in shaping the Union based on democracy and federalism. The government needs to implement the political landscape into normalcy. Relevant ministries and regions and states must strive to surge the economy of the nation. It is necessary to achieve progress for the nation within six coming months.
The graduates must have skills to apply their experiences of social and knowledge from their respective majoring subjects in practical arenas. As individual skills of applying their knowledge will benefit the State, it is necessary to create a good environment at universities.
The Senior General stressed that as insufficiency of food may harm other sectors, all are focused on ensuring food sufficiency as well as making efforts for the development of regions and states. — MNA
